Every girl dreams of having long, thick and strong hair. This dream cannot be fulfilled overnight. There are certain factors on which your hair growth is dependent like genetic factor, age, your daily diet, health conditions.

You can fulfill your desire of long hair by eating right diet and giving proper care to your hair.

Before giving you the tips of hair growth let me first tell you about the different stages of hair growth which will help you to understand it in a better manner.

Three Stages of Hair Growth

 

  1. First Stage is called Anagen
    This is basically the growth stage of hair which starts from two years and end at six years of age.
  2. Second Stage is Catagen
    This is the stage where your hair follicle gets progression.
  3. Third Stage is Telogen
    This means there is an end to the hair growth.

Tips To Grow Hair Faster

 

  1. Eat Balanced And Healthy Diet

    The first and foremost thing that will help you in growing your hair faster is the use of right diet and in right amount. You need to provide proper nourishment to hair in order to maintain its health like you do to your body. The main element with which hair is made up of is protein that means you need to eat food that is rich in protein. Apart from proteins, vitamins and mineral also help in growing hair. And all these are present in leafy veggies, fish, chicken, beans, seeds, egg and milk.

  2. Regularly Trim Your Hair

    The main obstacle in hair growth are the split ends, you need to trim them every three to four months. Don’t think that you are hindering your hair from growth but this is essential for balanced hair growth. Split ends usually leads to deterioration of hair. In order to avoid this and to have a long and well balanced hair, visit your hair stylist frequently and get your hair trimmed.

  3. Regularly Massage Your Scalp

    Proper blood circulation of the scalp stimulates hair follicles and this can be done by giving proper massage to your scalp. Dip your finger tips in lukewarm oil preferably coconut oil and gently massage your scalp in circulation motion for at least ten minutes. This strengthens the roots which in turn lead to longer and stronger hair.

  4. Flip Your Hair

    This is one of the easiest ways which can help in growing your hair. All you need to do is flip your head upside down for few minutes daily. This enables better blood circulation which may lead to hair growth.

  5. Avoid Washing Your Hair Too Often

    Washing your hair daily with shampoo doesn’t give you long hair. Despite the fact that it keeps your hair clean and also a means to stay hygienic, it can act as an obstruction in hair growth. Washing your hair daily can make your hair dry which in turn may lead to drying up of essential oils. These oils keep your hair moist and are also helpful to increase the length of the hair. It is advisable to wash your hair 4-5 times a week.

  6. Avoid Taking Stress

    Generally hair loss in most of the people is caused due to stress. Lower the level of stress you take or in a sense avoid taking stress. If you are treating your hair in the best possible way by eating balanced diet, by massaging and taking every possible means of hair care but still you do not find hair growth, then you need to lower down your stress. Stress can be managed through meditation, yoga, relaxation exercise and most importantly by having sound sleep.

  7. Avoid Brushing Too Often

    Most of the women brush their hair frequently thinking it may help in hair growth but this is not true. Make sure you do not brush your hair for more than 10-15 minutes daily. Avoid brushing when hair is wet as it may lead to breakage. Brush your hair in a very gentle and soft manner.

  8. Wear A Hat Or Scarf

    Often harsh weather, dust and pollution are the reason behind hair fall. Over exposure to sunlight can take away the moisture of your hair. Before leaving the house make sure that your hair are covered with a hat or a scarf.

  9. Use Conditioner

    Apply mild conditioner and that too in small amount to your hair every time you wash your hair with shampoo. Conditioners help in restoring the proteins to the scalp, hydrates your hair strands, repairs dull and damaged hair.

  10. Drink Adequate Water

    Drinking adequate water is not only helpful for hair but also for the entire body. Make sure you drink at least 2-3 litres for water every day. This keeps your body hydrated and flushes out toxins from your body.
